Process & Procedures .A quick list and explanation of the stages involved in the design, building application and construction of a project.
Design and Analysis StageThe first and one of the most important stages of the project. It is within this stage that the client needs to ascertain whether the project is a viable one. Some issues that need to be considered at this early stage, and preferably before discussions take place with the architect, are:

Design Stage Signoff.. . Building Application StageThe second stage of the project. At this stage the client would need to have signed off on the design and is comfortable lodging the design with the relevant authority for approval. Some issues that need to be considered, and in some cases reconsidered, at this stage are:
When the client is comfortable with the above issues they should commence discussions with Council, relevant authorities, Town Planners and other project consultants..
Development Application..
Building Application..
Construction StageThe third stage of the project. At this stage the client should have all the relevant approvals from the local authority and is comfortable with continuing onto the construction stage. Some issues that need to be considered, and in some cases reconsidered, at this stage are:
